The valvetronic dump race pipe is the first of its kind for the UTV industry. Taken from our proven designs on turbocharged vehicles like the Porsche 911 Turbo, the dump race pipe is the perfect way to increase performance, sound, and maintain a stock appearance. This new race pipe removes the factory catalytic converter from the exhaust system that goes between the turbocharger and the exhaust muffler. By eliminating this catalytic converter, the exhaust flow is greatly increased allowing the turbocharger to have a very efficient output over the stock pipe. A slight audible change is present compared to a full stock exhaust system. The sound is very tolerable when cruising forest trails, public roads, or other sound conscious areas when necessary.
However, with the push of a button, this part gives you a true "Mild to Wild" change in sound and performance. The vacuum operated valve opens up diverting your exhaust flow straight out of the turbocharger. This gives an incredible race sound where you can hear your turbo spool up under load while reducing any backpressure from the stock exhaust system. When opened, everyone will see and hear you coming! This pipe has been designed as an OEM replacement which will work with other aftermarket mufflers as well. The kit includes everything necessary for the installation including the plug and play light up switch, vacuum hose, solenoid, check valve, and other necessary hardware.
Each pipe is manufactured with T304 stainless steel piping that has been precision TIG welded in proven fixtures. The turbo connection flange has been CNC machined out of stainless steel and designed to reuse the factory band clamp. A flexible bellow is used to prevent cracking from the engine movement to the rigid exhaust mounts. The connection from the dump pipe to the muffler retains the spring clamp flange design to incorporate the stock springs. Each pipe also has an O2 bung welded on for the factory oxygen sensor.
